Major Features

This is a list of the major features we added to the RockSolid MAX version 32 Release.

Global Updates

Viewing Copies of Reports Side by Side (Ideas Portal)

When you need to compare the results of a report based on different or related criteria, it is useful to generate the reports and then review them side by side. This feature already existed for documents, so we expanded it to apply to all reports in the application. We prioritized this feature based on feedback in the Ideas Portal. To learn more about this report feature, see Comparing Copies of Reports Side by Side.

Reviewing the ACE Rewards Web Credential Changes

In November, ACE updated their credentials for businesses that use the ACE Rewards program, so we made changes on your behalf to prevent a service interruption. You can see these changes in the section Update to ACE Rewards Web Credentials Complete.

Ecommerce Updates

New Grace Period Setting for Ecommerce Solutions

Originally, we added the Grace Period parameter (Parameter Settings > Receivables > Grace Period (Days)) to allow customers additional time to send an account payment by mail. Some ecommerce customers noted that since online payments can be auto-posted, the Grace Period should not apply to these payments. To address this, we have added a new parameter that allows your business to choose whether to apply the Grace Period logic to auto-posted online payments, as covered in Parameter Manages Grace Period for Auto-Posted Payments.

New Tab Shows Customers Open and Posted Credits (Spruce eCommerce Only)

Your customers have asked for a way to view the credits you apply to their accounts, so they can see the discounts and credits you add, and when they were (or will be) applied. We have added a Credits tab to their Account page that displays this information. Administrators can determine which customer roles can view this tab using new settings in the EvolutionX system. To learn more about this new feature, see Viewing Open and Posted Credits (SPEC Only).
